Jonathan Adolphe (b. 1952) is a painter, born in New York City and currently works out of his studio in Gowanus, Brooklyn.  His work "evokes the beautiful accidents found in nature, the seen and unseen, all on a disappearing surface." Adolphe uses sailor's hand signals to warn of danger. It's all about psychotherapy.
