Joanna Kirk (b. 1963) received her BFA from Goldsmiths College, London. Kirk's pastel paintings are psychological landscapes in which the artist explores themes such as motherhood, isolation, humanity and intimacy. Working in pastel, Kirk gradually builds up the surface of each piece, adding layer upon layer to produce compositionally rich and complex landscapes which become almost abstract in their surface detail. She has exhibited widely in Europe.

Please note that the listed prices do not include shipping. Shipping is calculated after purchase based on the size and fragility of each artwork as well as the shipping address. You will be emailed a shipping cost. Once you approve and pay for shipping, the artwork will be shipped.
All artworks are professionally packaged for shipment and insured. Most artworks shipped within the US are sent via FedEx. Most artworks shipped internationally travel via DHL. Exceptional pieces can be shipped via an art shipping firm at an additional cost.
