Ken Aptekar (b. 1955) was born in Detroit and moved to Brooklyn in 1972 to complete his MFA at Pratt Institute. Aptekar’s work can be found at the Jewish Museum in New York City, Victoria and Albert Museum, National Museum of American Art, Oregon Jewish Museum, and Holocaust Study Center.
