Will Mentor (b. 1958) is painter living and working in Burlington, Vermont, where he teaches art at St. Michael's College. Mentor burst onto the New York art scene in the early 80's, gaining instant success for what critics referred to as his "Neo-surrealist" abstract oil paintings. Mentor called this specific piece the "Creme de la creme of my small paintings."
