Kota Ezawa (b. 1969) was born in Cologne, Germany and is now based out of San Francisco, California. He received his B.F.A from San Francisco Art Institute in 1995 and received his M.F.A from Stanford University. Kota Ezawa’s work explores the appropriation and mediation of current events and images.
