Margi Geerlinks (b. 1970), Kampen, The Netherlands, a photographer whose work is concerned with the ways the human species creates an identity for themselves. She displays the effects of science, religion, morality and time in her photography. This work was purchased from Torch Gallery, Amsterdam.
Taking the body as a canvas she tries to show both the current identity of the person photographed and the things that make her become someone else. Geerlinks makes us question the necessity of an age and economically divided society.
