Mark Kostabi (b. 1960 ) is an artist and composer who moved to New York in 1982 and emerged as a prominent figure in the East Village art scene. Within a few years, his work drew international acclaim. In 1988 he founded Kostabi World, his Manhattan art studio. He currently splits his time between New York and Italy.
