Paul Henry Ramirez (b. 1963) was born in Lerado, Texas. He coined the term biogeomorphic abstraction to describe his art. His works have appeared at the Brooklyn Museum, Bronx Museum, Aldrich, Corcoran Gallery of Art, El Museo del Barrio, the Smithsonian and The Whitney Museum of American Art.
