Peter Caine (1959 - 1997) is a self-taught artist who began making collages while recovering from a crippling leg injury. He is known for creating installations that combine found objects with kinetic sculptures. The New York Times’ Holland Cotter has called his work “beyond irreverent” and “a grotesque take on an already grotesque take on American culture.” Caine lives and works in Brooklyn, New York.
