Sally Ross is a New York artist born in 1969. She specializes in carefully-painted surrealistic still lives, often where the subject is flowers and made to appear cartoon-like. Her thick brush strokes accent the subject matter, making the branches with blooms on them into sculptural objects. Ross has shown at Feature Gallery, Gallery Lelong and this work was purchased in 1999 from Audiello Fine Art, New York.
