Laurie Nye (b. 1972) in Memphis, Tennessee now lives and works in Los Angeles, Ca. She has exhibited internationally and her most recent shows were in Los Angeles and St. Augustine, FL. Artist Laurie Nye's other-wordily paintings are filled with female cyborgs and organic shapes. Presently she is exhibiting at The Dot Project in London. Her compositions often try to involve the viewer beyond the lateral plane of looking a the image alone.
