Robert Beauchamp (1923 - 1995) was a noted artist and arts educator. He moved to New York City in the 1950's and was involved in the Tenth Street galleries. Beauchamp's figurative paintings and drawings are known for depicting dramatic creatures. His work was described in the New York Times as being "both frightening and amusing."
